abit has introduced
a new speaker system to be utilized in conjunction
with their abit AudioMAX? daughter
card, integrated with many of the high-end motherboards
that come from the abit stables.
Alternatively you may connect the iDome to any S/P
DIF outputs from a PC or from peripheral devices
such as CD/DVD players.
Digital S/P DIF connections have
been around a while, but most people have never
found a use for them. abit finally
gives you the chance to experience true digital
sound from your PC. Using an optical cable, take
out the jack-plug in your S/P DIF output on your
motherboard/daughter card, and insert the optical
cable as directed and similarly insert the other
end into the S/P DIF input on the abit iDome speaker system. Once this is done, stream
your digital audio media directly to the iDome speakers
and experience audio fidelity as it should be heard.
