Hard|OCP on ABIT's KT7 Series: "Mainboards of 2000"

Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. Wednesday, January 10, 2001- Hard|OCP begin each year with a review of the best products of the year passing. On the Best Motherboard of 2000. Hard|OCP are quick to declare a winner. "This award, without a doubt, belongs to the ABIT KT7 and ABIT KT7-RAID series of boards."

Getting into specifics, Hard|OCP note, "This was one of the first Socket A mainboards on the market to include a fully adjustable jumperless BIOS." On the performance end of things, Hard|OCP continue by saying, "The KT7 has endured many tests here in the Underground Bunker and has shown more success than any other board we have tested. It is not uncommon to find a board that will not even post an AMD Tbird, only then to have the SAME EXACT CPU up and running stable on the KT7 with the clock speed set 100MHz higher. This is the first board I have seen ABIT push so much further on since the BP6. Great work, guys!"
