Hardware Online on KT7A-RAID :"An Overclocker's Dream"

Taipei, Taiwan, Tuesday 24 April 2001- The KT7A series continues to impress reviewers around the world. Denmark's Hardware Online put the KT7A-RAID through its paces and found it to be an overclocker's dream. So what do they say?

"In order to stress the board, I reduced all the memory settings to the least demanding setting. I also reduced the multiplier in order to make sure I was pushing the board, not the Processor. Doing this I reached an astounding FSB speed of 152 MHz. But as most people know setting the memory to their slowest isn't the best thing for performance, so I turned it back up to their fastest settings and I still reached a FSB of 147 MHz. This is very impressive and I must say that ABIT lives up to their reputation as an "overclockers dream"

And in conclusion…
"The board has bean very pleasant to work with. There is a lot of space around the socket making the installation of large coolers very easy. Also the power connector are placed at the edge of the board making sure that airflow are not restricted by the cables. All in all a board that deserves our recommendation."
