ABIT @ Computex 2001:
New Products, New Innovation | Taipei, Taiwan, Tuesday 5 June 2001- As the second day comes to a close at Computex at the ABIT booth, editors, tech-writers, buyers, and sales-reps continue to stream through the door. They are drawn by ABIT's reputation for quality, its innovative products, excellent relationships, and strong brand name.
Mainboards
Motherboards have long been the key to ABIT's success, and they remain the dominant platform for innovation. ABIT works closely with both Intel and AMD as well as Via and third party chipset manufacturers to bring to you the most advanced, stable and innovating motherboards possible. Last week ABIT announced its first DDR board, the KG7-RAID.
The KG7-RAID supports the latest in AMD Duron and Athlon CPUs and up to 4 GB of DDR memory. Utilising ABIT's SoftMenu III technology, the KG7-RAID provides the tools to maximize your computer's performance. With the KG7-RAID, the power and stability of DDR is finally realised.
The AMD761 and Via 686B chipset combination provides the KG7-RAID with all of today's standard top-of-the-line features: 200 / 266MHz FSB support, 2 USB ports, 4 DIMM slots for DDR SDRAM modules, 1 AGP slot (with AGP 4X support) and 6 PCI slots. Up to 8 ATA/100 devices are supported as well as an extra USB channel (for a grand total of up to 4 USB ports).
The KR7-RAID also supports the latest in AMD Duron and Athlon CPUs and up to 4 GB of DDR memory. With a similar feature set to the KG7-RAID, the KR7-RAID utilises ABIT's SoftMenu III technology to enable users to get the most out of their computer system. A comprehensive array of tweaks gives the KR7-RAID flexibility today's users demand. |
