Maximum3D awards KT7E "Editor's Top Choice"

Taipei, Taiwan, Friday June 29, 2001 - Maximum3D recently reviewed ABIT's KT7E. Filling a gap in the market, the KT7E is an excellent motherboard and a reasonable price. Here is a short snippet from the conclusion to whet your appetite:

"Abit has given us a new motherboard for the masses, one that is cheap, fast, and looks damn cool. We strapped an inexpensive Duron 600 overclocked to 933Mhz, and a GeForce2 MX onto the KT7E, and the results were a fast gaming system for next to nothing. The layout is as close to perfect as they come, with most of the components in just the right place. Stability? Rock solid, even when overclocked to 145Mhz fsb, on a board only guaranteed to run at 100Mhz. Did we mention it is blue?"
