Introducing ABIT Engineered: If it is not ABIT engineered, It's just another motherboard. | Taipei, Taiwan, Thursday 16 August 2001-- 'ABIT engineering' is new from ABIT. ABIT users are ones who push their boards to new levels. Standards are not even an option, but are simply numbers to blow by. ABIT engineers are like our users in this way. They take existing, already extremely overclockable ABIT motherboards and they modify them to do even more. With the launch of ABIT engineering, ABIT is making these ABIT engineered modifications standard features on certain ABIT motherboards. Now these in-house modifications the ABIT engineers have been using on their boards are available to all of our users. This is why we say, "If it is not ABIT engineered, it's just another motherboard."
Tweaking Tools
The Engineer's first step for a tweaked system is preparation of the system. ABIT engineers, when designing, testing and tweaking ABIT motherboards always modify the motherboard to include onboard debugging. When looking for the limit of your system, the onboard debugging LED allows for instant analysis of where the trouble is occurring. The onboard Power On and Power Reset buttons are designed for ease of use in finding those system limits.
Voltage Tweaks
When testing the limits of the system, you need power. ABIT engineering now provides you with that power. Voltage tweaking up to 2.2V is now available. What does that mean for ABIT users? The standard voltage of 1.85Volts on motherboards just doesn't give the tweaking freedom that many of our users would like. ABIT engineers have been modifying the voltage on their motherboards and ABIT now extends that benefit to you. By allowing for such voltage options, ABIT engineering takes away the usual voltage limitations that prevent maximum overclocking. |
