HARD OCP on ABIT Siluro GeForce 3 : "Overclocking Beast"

Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. Thursday, October 4th, 2001- A little bit of ABIT Engineering goes a long way. The folks over at Hard OCP recently had a chance to take a close look at ABIT's Siluro GeForce 3, and they were very impressed.

Hard OCP was floored with their overclocking results, saying "After rigorous testing, my final overclocking speeds were 245MHz core and 550MHz memory...All I can say is WOW on the overclocking. This is the highest I've ever gotten with Stock cooling on a retail GeForce3 card. ABIT did a great job on making this card for the tweaker indeed."

"I was VERY impressed, to say the least, with the overclocking I got out of this video card. By far this is the BEST overclocker I have come across yet using stock cooling options...I was pretty much shocked that it did get that high. I ran the tests over and over to make sure it didn't lock up, and not once did it do so at these speeds."

The conclusion? "If you are looking for a very fast overclockable GeForce3 with VIVO functions, the ABIT Siluro GeForce3 deserves some attention."
