ABIT Unique" 4 Phase Power Makes the Difference "

Taipei, Taiwan ( R.O.C ) December 13th 2001 - ABIT Engineering has done it again. Our previous 3 Phase Power Solution effectively reduced heat and increased stability on our therboards,particularly when they are run beyond normal specifications. Today, ABIT is proud to announce our newest innovation: ABIT's 4 Phase Power Solution.

When current is provided to the CPU, system heat continually builds.Traditionally, there are 2 MOSFETs that handle the current to make it even for normal CPU operation. However, with today's CPU's, more current is required which results in higher system temperatures. ABIT's 4 Phase Power solution takes this current and splits it between 8 MOSFETs, allowing the current to be handled by any two MOSFETs for a shorter period of time. The result? A cooler, more stable system.
