With its strong performance, quality, and overall feature set, they rated the KR7A-RAID with a whopping 9 out of a possible 10!
VIA Hardware was very impressed with the options available on the KR7A-RAID: "Under the Soft Menu III options in the BIOS, you'll find a great amount of overclocking options such as FSB settings from 100-200MHz in 1MHz increments, PCI dividers of 1/3 and ¼, and multiplier settings starting from 5x up to over 13x…When overclocking, voltage adjustments are vital for maximum overclocking. ABIT has done it again offering a vast amount of adjustments. Under Core Voltage adjustments, ABIT offers voltage adjustments up to 1.85 volts. For I/O voltage, ABIT offers the ability to increase the I/O voltage to 3.65 volts for stabilizing I/O devices. For extreme overclocking, ABIT has included DDR voltage adjustments from 2.5-2.85 volts to increase overclock ability of DDR memory. Under memory settings, ABIT offers the most extensive memory options I've seen on a KT266A board."
The overall quality of the KR7A-RAID shows with the bundle included: "ABIT's manual is top notch and covers all of the motherboard features…ABIT has gone out of their way to bundle an OEM version of Norton Antivirus 2002 which is compatible with Windows XP and IMO the best antivirus software available, compared to other manufacturers who are just bundling boards with Norton Antivirus 2001 or PC Cillin."
