Octobor 27, 2008- abit had their first “FunFab Taiwan Roadshow” on October 13 and October 16 at Nangang Software park and Xizhi respectively. To introduce the world’s first digital photo frame printer, the abit FunFab, abit showed this innovative combination of a stylish digital photo frame and a lab-quality photo printer, encouraging the audience to experience the easy-of-use and the convenience of the abit FunFab themselves.
At the event, the participants could pick up funny wigs, hats, and accessories, taking pictures at the spot. Then the photos were printed out within less than one minute by the abit FunFab, ready to be taken home, or into the office to pep up your cubical! The best part, undoubtedly though, was the lucky draw where the spectators had a chance of taking home an abit FunFab. Two lucky ladies have won a FunFab P71-A2 at each event. The participants were highly interested in the abit FunFab and its integrated functions of a digital picture frame and a photo printer. Some of the participants enjoyed their first time with the abit FunFab, and even forgot to have their lunch!

High quality Dye-Sublimation printing technology
Dye-sublimation printing technology employs a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye to a medium such as photo paper or printer paper. FunFab uses YMCO colors which differs from the more recognized CMYK colors in that the black dye is eliminated in favor of a clear overcoating. This overcoating is effectively a thin laminate which protect the print from discoloration from UV light and the air while also rendering the print water-resistant.
Various input options, pure convenience
The storage supports USB connectivity, SD/MS memory cards as well as mobile phone, digital camera, and PC connection. Digital camera and mobile phones supporting the “Picture Bridge” technology can be linked to the FunFab and print photos directly – convenience only.
