4 January, 2007 – Kuala Lumpur is not only Malaysia's biggest but also most competitive city when it comes to IT. So it's not surprising that the country's largest IT event is taking place just there. This year's PC Fair took place from December 7th to 9th in the KL Convention Centre, drawing computer enthusiasts and professionals from all over Malaysia. For the PC Fair all the big names of the IT industry are gathering to present their latest and greatest products. Therefore as a matter of course, during this year's show abit once again also showed up big time.

 PIKOM PC Fair is organized by PIKOM, or the Association of the Computer and Multimedia Industry of Malaysia. The first PIKOM PC Fair was held in 1995, Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur where it received more than 25,000 visitors. Today, PIKOM PC Fair has grown from once a year at one location to a three times a year to more than 25 locations in Malaysia. The fair attracts as many as 1.3 million visitors per year and recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the Largest ICT Fair in Malaysia!
