 December 6, 2006 – The NF-M2 nView is abit's solution for the media market on the socket AM2 platform. Being able to achieve great overclock speeds using abit technology, it goes above and beyond what consumers have expected from a mATX form factor. For consumers with limited space or just the need to build a system that is easily carried around, the NF-M2 nView satisfies all those demands without sacrificing the performance of an ATX form factor motherboard.
On looks: "This is a very nice looking motherboard thanks to the blue PCB. The color scheme is a dark blue with black and blue memory sockets. abit's Silent OTES Heat Pipe heat sinks carry over on to this board which are also very clean and fancy for this style of motherboard. Commonly, smaller mini-ATX motherboards aren't decorated or fitted with the nicer cooling and peripheral components. This is NOT the case here. You get one very cool looking mini-ATX."
On testing: "Testing methods included Aquamark 3, 3DMark05, Sisoft Memory and Multi-Media Benchmark Utilities. Benchmarks were run using the 7600 GT and the integrated Geforce 6150. MemTest was also used to verify that the system was a 100% stable in stock and overclocked mode. Running the integrated Geforce 6150 proved to have a better picture quality than any previous generation across the test bench."
For the gamer: "Both the SG-95 and NF-M2 platform will suffice for any HTPC configuration, but the abit NF-M2 can obviously double as much more serious compact gaming system for the extreme user due to its over clocking capabilities. System performance is on par with some of the more gamer intended platforms. With a Geforce 7600 GT or higher, you could play the latest game titles on your big screen and still enjoy a great HTPC experience. Add a dual core AM2 processor and one could multi-task with ease while you get your serious game on."
 In conclusion: "The abit NF-M2 AM2 Home Theater Motherboard is Home Theater at its finest with a little bit of the AW9 MAX Bushido power. There are so many things to like about the motherboard from the color scheme to the quality of components. The motherboard performs very admirably presenting stability and function.
