June 14, 2006 – abit recently introduced a new Corporate Identity at a press conference held during Computex at their Booth 201 in the TICC. The company profile was unveiled, with reference to the past achievements such as in 1996 when SoftMenu™, the worlds first jumperless technology in motherboards, and again later in 1999 over 1 million BH6 motherboards were sold in less than 12 months and thereafter abit's µGuru technology offering tweaking integration unlike anything else available on the market. Our latest innovation is the Silent OTES™ patented heatpipe technology which in various forms protects the chipsets and PWM region of the motherboard without any fan noise to annoy you.
Staying with tradition, but making great advancements abit are launching newer versions of the Fatal1ty brand to promote and cater strictly for gamers while through the Max brand, abit will be catering for the extreme enthusiast who only wants the best of the best. Not forgetting abit's loyal supporters who are looking to get more in terms of value from the mainstream; abit have perfected the Guru brand for this market segment and will promote all three segments strongly into the channels.
At the Press Conference Intel kindly supported abit with Susan Chien, the Channel Area Sales manager who explained that Intel wished to work more closely with abit in every way to help us maximize our potential through our partnership with USI.
abit's General Manager Jason Hsu in typical fashion said little but meant a great deal as the words struck home: "abit is back!". Thereafter abit chairman C.Y. Wei spoke about how USI will leverage abit to become a household name in the multimedia segment, to step up beyond being a motherboard manufacturer. abit's first foray into this arena is starting from a clean slate; the abit iDome digital speakers, the only pure digitally amplified speaker system for your PC.
abit is clearly technologically superior in every way. |
