"Instead of building off of a reference PCB design, ABIT has created their own unique design. They have built this video card from the ground up to be a gamer oriented video card. They put a lot of work into designing the layout, the power circuitry, and the features provided to the end user. "

"The ABIT Fatal1ty X800 XL 512MB video card is a single slot solution sporting a fancy copper heatsink and large fan developed uniquely by ABIT. Also unique is the design of the circuitry on the PCB itself. ABIT has customized the power circuitry on their design from a reference video card to establish greater stability at higher frequencies."

Think of this as one click, rather one push, overclocking. The switch on the video card has two positions that set the video card in "Normal" mode (default) or "XTurbo" mode. This is possible because ABIT actually has two BIOSs on this video card. The "Normal" BIOS operates at a 398MHz VPU frequency and a 986MHz memory frequency on the ABIT Fatal1ty X800 XL 512MB model.
