Today ABIT is proud to announce another unique feature for its upcoming AW8-MAX board: its second-generation µGuru™ technology. A feature rich software utility developed to give users unprecedented access and control over their PC. The Graphic User Interface (GUI) has been designed to make navigation between the many utilities the easiest of tasks. The choice of three factory and three user-defined settings ensures that users achieve the best possible setup for each and every application running on their computer.
µGuru has been created to make certain that users of all abilities have the opportunity to get the very best results from their system. The option to match different settings with different applications means they have the chance to achieve MAXimum performance out of each and every program installed on their machine. OC Guru, AutoDrive, ABIT EQ, FAN EQ, Guru Clock, FlashMenu and BlackBox all work together to make sure this happens.

The GUI has been designed to provide smooth and intuitive access to all of the µGuru's utilities. Added flexibility means a choice of three different settings, Full Skin, Mini Skin and Mini Panel (Displays CPU information only), along with a transparency option to fade the skin.

The OC Guru offers both novice and experienced overclockers the opportunity to get the very best from their system. They can either fine-tune performance for individual applications, which can be saved as one of three user-defined settings, or select one of three factory settings, Normal, Turbo and Quiet. AutoDrive enables any one of these six settings to be allocated to an individual application. For example they could use the Quiet setting for Skype, and the Turbo setting for a favorite game. Together OC Guru and AutoDrive ensure users achieve the best result from each and every piece of software. |

ABIT EQ protects the PC by monitoring critical hardware for temperature, voltage and fan speed irregularities. Users are able to choose exactly which of the 19 available components they wish to monitor and the level of protection required, either an audible warning or full system shutdown. ABIT EQ means total system protection and piece of mind. |

FAN EQ is a unique feature that controls the fan speed on the CPU, North Bridge, System, OTES and Auxiliary fan headers, which are automatically adjusted in-line with the chosen factory or user defined settings. In addition to the personalised configuration, there's also the option to let the system find its own optimized fan setup. |

With just one click users can live update their motherboard BIOS on-line using FlashMenu - the most stable Windows-based BIOS updating software available. Step by step and update from file options are also available to those who prefer this method. |

In the event of a problem, BlackBox auto-detects hardware information which can then be emailed directly to ABIT Tech Support for processing. There is no longer a need to complete lengthy forms or search for model numbers. BlackBox does it all quickly and efficiently with the click of a mouse, providing access to fast and friendly support should it be required. |
