The SI-2Ps is designed to support dual IntelO XeonO processors based on IntelO E7501 chipset running at 533MHz FSB. The high speed PCI-X bus fully utilizes the performance of 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports to the ultimate for heavy workload. In addition, the embedded Cavium CN-1120 Nitrox Macro processor provides remarkable computational processing performance to accelerate the encryption/decryption on broad range of busy traffics.
The SI-2Ps adopts 3 pcs of Intel 82546 64-bit PCI-X Bus silicon to support six Gigabit Ethernet ports in copper-type connectors to satisfied the bandwidth-hunger system implementations, while the on board CN-1120 security macro processor offers a choice of 1.8Gbps of IPsec traffic, or 12,000 RSA operations per second, for an unmatched High Performance application.
