The SI-1Ns42 is designed to support IntelO PentiumO 4 processor based on the IntelO 845GV running at 533MHz FSB. The support of integrated graphics on the chipset contributes a significant cost advantage. In addition, the embedded Cavium CN-1005 Nitrox Lite Macro processor provides exceptional computational processing performance for data encryption/decryption at surprisingly affordable price premium.
The SI-1Ns42 is available to support up to six 10/100 Fast Ethernet (SI-1Ns60), four 10/100 Fast Ethernet plus two Gigabit Ethernet (SI-1Ns42), or max. four Gigabit Ethernet ports (SI-1Ns04) to fit for versatile final system implementations, while the on board CN-1005 security macro processor offers a choice of 400Mbps of IPsec traffic or 3,500 RSA operations per second.
ABIT SI-1Ns42 server board features the solution-in-mind design architecture that allows for quick time-to-market for both system integrators and solution providers with custom-made EMI/Thermal ready compact 1-U rack mount barebones for wide variety Security Appliance, such as integrated Firewall/VPN, VPN Gateway, SSL Webservers…, etc. A VPN/Security solution provider will immediately benefit from the advanced security and manageability features building blocks, and will eliminate additional cost and compatibility issues for separate add-on devices.
