ABIT features BulletProof Technology at Hannover show

February 23, 2004 - ABIT is proud to announce its participation in this year's CeBIT Exhibition, taking place in Hannover, Germany. As a leading manufacturer of quality motherboards, video cards, server products and barebone systems, ABIT's full product line, as well as a few surprises, will be on display.

At the event, ABIT will be introducing its BulletProof Technology concept: "BulletProof Technology represents the advanced durability of ABIT products," says Scott Thirlwell, ABIT Marketing Director. "Our combination of quality, stability, reliability, and engineering makes ABIT motherboards a compelling platform for PC enthusiasts to base their systems on."

µGuru, ABIT's exclusive motherboard management technology that combines overclocking, e-service, and the silent PC standard, will be at CeBIT 2004 for onlookers to witness: "Attendees will have a chance to see and experience the difference µGuru makes to the computing experience. Never before have users had this level of control over their systems, and I think that our live demos will drive this point home."

CeBIT will also introduce ABIT's latest foray into the realm of PC gaming: "Seeing as how gamers rely on the very best PC hardware to stay competitive, gaming is a natural step for ABIT. Our new gaming website and worldwide gaming tournaments are our way of getting more involved with this ever-growing community."

With the proliferation of digital devices, DigiDice™ - ABIT's mini-barebone PC, makes a perfect hub for the digital lifestyle: "There are endless ways of how digital devices such as MP3 players and digital cameras are changing our lives for the better. Users will discover ways to integrate DigiDice™ into their homes they have never thought of before. All of this promises to make this CeBIT 2004 the most exciting for ABIT users yet."

Increase battery operation, provide Gigabit networking capability and enable ASF 2.0-based authenticated remote management for mobile platforms with the Intel®
82541EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller. This controller, with enhanced power management, consumes less than 1.0W of power at Gigabit speeds and is footprint compatible with other Intel® PRO 10/100/1000 Connections.

CeBIT 2004 is held from March 18th to 24th. ABIT's booth is located at stand C42 in hall 23.
