Originally designed for VGAs, OTES has been redesigned to cool the hottest part of a motherboard: the PWM power regulation mosfets and capacitors. Thus OTES works to reduce both the GPU temperature as well as your case temperature. Hardware monitoring ensures your system stays quiet when the GPU is inactive. Other VGA cooling solutions that look similar simply do not provide the advantages of ABIT OTES. With the increasing heat of GPUs causing case temperatures to rise to alarming levels, standard cooling is quickly becoming inadequate.
