building and tweaking your own system. In this review they look at the
famous NVIDIA based NF7-S from ABIT. Not only does it get their Editor's
Choice Award but also makes it to the top in their King of the Hill list
which lists only the best of the best. Read on:
Built
for Overclockers, By Overclockers
"ABIT sent us their top of the line for both AMD and Intel.
We recently brought you our thoughts on their IC7-G board and awarded
it our Editor's Choice.
The numbers speak for themselves. The NF7-S is by far the most
overclockable Socket A board I've ever laid my hands on. The wide array
of tools it provides tweakers is astounding. Even the most extreme overclockers
should be able to get the juice they demand without any modifications
at all. I can't express how pleased I've been while working with it. From
the easy to grab jumpers, to the incredibly well laid out BIOS and it's
array of tweaks; it's a board that anyone wanting to squeeze the most
out of their AMD should have on their short list of boards to buy.
We're
proud to grace this board with our Editor's Choice Award and feel it most
deserving. So much in fact, that this board will now grace the King of
the Hill page knocking (another board) to second place. The (other board)
offers the 2nd NIC and 4 USB on the rear but that's not enough to make
up for the NF7-S' outstanding performance. We couldn't get the Asus to
run our chip at 217x10.5 and that was enough to give the King of the Hill
award to the NF7-S. Combine that with the fact that the ABIT has certified
nVidia SoundStorm audio and the most breathtaking BIOS layout, and it's
easy to see why we've crowned it."
Congratulations go out to ABIT for earning both of these coveted awards.
