Gaming with 5,000 at DreamHack 2003! ABIT Shows off the GigaSystem™

Taipei, Taiwan, June 26, 2003-The DREAMHACK 2003 event, held at Elmia in Jönköking, Sweden, from June 16th - 19th, was one of the largest LAN parties held for gamers and all other data-enthusiasts in Europe. At least 5,000 participants saw the VapoChill & WaterChill Power PC when the system was presented live on-stage by asetek's Sales and Marketing Manager Martin Schousboe. The response was overwhelming, with computer enthusiasts of all ages crowding around the GigaSystem™ to have a look at the exciting technologies on display. There is no doubt that the GigaSystem™ was one of the highlights at Dream Hack 2003!

Partnering up with asetek and Kingston, ABIT was exhibiting to the Northern European PC enthusiasts an Intel P4 based VapoChill and WaterChill Power PC including an ABIT IC7-G motherboard, ABIT Siluro FX5800 OTES VGA and Kingston HyperX DDR RAM running at amazing 4.09 GHz.

As well as the display, an online competition with prizes worth more than EUR 2,500 sponsored by ABIT, Kingston and asetek took place at DREAMHACK '03. There were many happy winners who walked away with ABIT motherboards and video cards, Asetek Waterchill and Vapochill units and Kingston RAM.
