We have found in the past that our Corsair XMS PC-3500 which is rated at 433MHz tops out at roughly 460MHz.The ABIT IC7-G with Corsair XMS PC-3500C2 is the new memory bandwidth speed champ and boasts the fastest memory bandwidth of any motherboard or brand of memory we have seen to date!

This is your motherboard if you are looking to have the fastest computer in your neighborhood! The ABIT IC7-G walked away with the fastest FSB and memory speeds of all the boards. Not only is it fast, ABIT included a very nice bundle that includes rounded cables for improved airflow and everything to get dual SATA drives running. This board looks great and performs even better than it looks, all it needs is some liquid nitrogen and an overclocked Intel 3.0C Pentium 4 processor and this should be the fastest motherboard available to the public.

 After using each of these boards, one did make an impression on me as to being the best and that was the ABIT IC7-G. For starters, the layout is simply amazing! It uses a thin northbridge fan that we never had any interference problems with (unlike the DFI and AOpen). It also had a fan header that allowed us to plug in our rear case fan with ease (unlike the DFI). Something that amazed me was the fact that ABIT was the only company to include everything needed to get SATA RAID going! They did so by including pairs of SATA cables and power adapters. This was something left out by the other companies. When it comes to actual board performance, you can''t ignore the fact that the ABIT IC7-G beat the other boards in FSB and Memory overclocking. On top of all this, the ABIT 1.3 BIOS was problem free and offered some really nice features. Speed freaks and enthusiasts should be really happy with the ABIT IC7-G!"
