Taipei, Taiwan April 28th 2003-The
Gathering '03 event, held at the impressive Olympia hall in Hamar also known as
The Vikingship (Norway) from April 16th - 20th, is the world's largest event for
gamers, programmers, hardware-freaks, IRC-geeks, demo scene builders and all
other data-enthusiasts in Europe. With more than 5,100 participants this was the
most exciting party ever in TG's history both the people, the compos, the
atmosphere, the network, the concerts, the whole TG-experience made it a special
event.
ABIT, Kingston and asetek were exhibiting
to the Northern European PC enthusiasts ABIT BH7-based GigaSystems with
VapoChill and WaterChill cooling systems, ABIT Siluro GF4 OTES VGAs and Kingston
HyperX DDR RAM running at an amazing 4.06 GHz!
A very well visited seminar at TG was held by asetek in
cooperation with Kingston and ABIT. At the seminar all the participants used
their chance to get very close to all the hardware and see for themselves how
easy it is to overclock a GigaSystem™ with the proper hardware installed. A lot
of product information, mousepads and posters were also handed out.
An online competition sponsored by ABIT, Kingston, 3dfxcool and asetek took also
place at TG '03- this was like crowning the achievement of a very successful
event and gave us a lot of expectations for next year's event at TG.
