ABIT BE7-RAID is a HardOCP "Top Pick"

"I think I was a bit more impressed with the board even than Morry was. I benchmarked this board back in December of last year and really beat on it for about a week. During this time we ran all sorts of very stressful stability tests on the ABIT BE7-RAID and it showed to be one of the most stable Pentium 4 boards we have seen. It is boards such as this that make it near impossible to not suggest the i845PE chipset currently for those of you looking for a Pentium 4 solution.

Designed for Overclocking

The BE7-RAID reminds me of a lot of those ABIT boards from yesteryear that were "purist boards". Are stripped down performance mainboards that have room for a hot VidCard back in style? I am not sure about that, but it is for sure that many folks will find this board very attractive.

The overclocking features on the BE7-RAID allow for some serious enthusiast projects even with a single stick of DDR. With a choice stick of PC3200 or PC3500, I think the BE7-RAID and a mid-2GHz CPU can get very possibly get you to the 3GHz mark before your buddies ever see 2.5GHz. Factor in the board is priced less than US$120.00 at some of our favorite retailers and you certainly have a "Top Pick".
