TheTechZone recently took a look at the Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES and liked it so
much they gave it Editor's Choice. About the card, they said, "What do the

ABIT's Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES video card."
ABIT was the first manufacturer to use a such an advanced cooling system for VGA
Cards. OTES is the new standard for VGA cooling. Next generation VGA Cards are
already trying to copy the OTES system. "Some manufacturers go obviously
above and beyond standard cooling necessities to tame those electrons, and ABIT
is definitely one of them. ABIT has designed an innovative Outside Thermal
Exhaust System, or simply known as OTES. It is this very OTES system that
immediately separates this video card from the rest of the pack."
In terms of performance, The TechZone were impressed by OTES. "The Siluro
Ti4200 is overclocked to Ti4400 speed by default. ABIT is definitely very
confident in its OTES system in that they are willing to ship a product that's
operating outside of its specifications." Indeed, we are extremely confident
with OTES, especially when we can see performance levels close to Ti4600 as
TheTechZone saw. "We will soon see this little baby perform at factory settings
and then overclocked as close to a Ti4600 as possible, of which nVidia specifies
the Ti4600 settings at 300Mhz/650Mhz."
"I was able to overclock the Siluro's GPU to the clock speed of the Ti4600
GPU at 300Mhz."
In concluding this review, "The Siluro Ti4200 OTES has all the ingredients
that makes it an absolute winner in its class. The ingredients of affordability,
great performance, ABIT quality, overclockability, and to top it off, a great
looking video card to show off in those fancy see through cases."
As for the final recommendation, "Considering the Siluro Ti4200 OTES offers
gamers the best value for the performance it is almost a no brainer when
choosing this video card."
