Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., October 22 -
ABIT's MAX series of motherboards have been getting top marks with hardware enthusiasts around the world, and it's no wonder with it's impressive combination of features, stability and over-the-top performance. The folks at
T-Break took a look at the new AT7-MAX2 motherboard and liked it so much, they
labeled it as one of their Recommended Products.
T-Break dove right in to the rich features of the AT7-MAX2: "One of the
reasons why this board is called MAX is to provide you with maximum features.
ABIT loads the AT7 MAX2 real good with ten USB ports, three Firewire ports, and
Optical connections...Another thing that we would like to mention is ABIT's
Media XP which can be connected to any of their MAX series of boards. The Media XP is ABIT's front panel connector and is more powerful than any other that we've seen before. It provides access to USB and Firwire wire ports along with
audio in/out and card readers like Memory stick...we highly recommend all MAX motherboard owners to get Media XP."
Next, they delve into the awesome features of ABIT SoftMenu: "The BIOS sports some awesome features- truly worthy of an ABIT board...Overclocking options are
also amazing. ABIT finally gives you the option to select higher voltage on
memory as well as CPU...These are awesome options and we would seriously
recommend the casual overclocker to play it safe. ABIT also provides lots of CPU
Multipliers- all the way from 5X to 22.5X and everyone who's unlocked their
Athlon is sure to have a field day."
The verdict? "...[ABIT] manages to produce a very good board with excellent
overclocking features, great stability and awesome performance. We haven't
really recommended a KT400 board until now, but owning a MAX board is an
experience."
