Increased System Bandwidth
The IT7 MAX features the latest Intel i845E
chipset, delivering a 533MHz front side bus and 3 DDR DIMMs support up to 2GB of
high-speed DDR memory. The extra bandwidth provided by the i845E chipset makes
the IT7 MAX a powerful platform for any application. Games, multimedia, and
business programs run smoothly and quickly on the IT7 MAX. 4 Channel ATA 133 RAID
The IT7 MAX also provides four ATA 133
RAID-ready IDE channels with its HPT 374 controller. RAID 0, 1, and 0+1 are
possible. Combined with the 2 native ATA 100 IDE channels, the IT7 MAX has the
capacity to accommodate up to an unprecedented 12 IDE devices. Furthermore, IT7
MAX users can configure up to 6 IDE devices without having to share IDE channels
in master mode! The IT7 MAX with its HPT 374 controller chip takes storage
flexibility to a new level.
