Inquirer Overclocks Prescott to 4300MHz
ABIT and Asetek enable some wicked speeds

March 5, 2004 – When doing any kind of extreme overclocking, it's mission critical to base your system around the best possible hardware. Tech news site Inquirer got their hands on Intel's latest Prescott CPU, and decided to see how far they could take it. What better way than to acquire ABIT's IC7-MAX3 motherboard and ABIT R9800XT graphic card, and pair it with Asetek's excellent Vapochill cooling system. The result? A whopping 4300MHz!

Here's the direct quote from the folks at Inq: "…with proper cooling the INQUIRER team of boffins (me) was able to cool this baby down to sub-zero temperatures in a Vapochill system using ABIT's IC7 MAX3 motherboard, ABIT 9800XT PRO INQ edition, powered by Asetek and Corsair DDR 550 PC 4400 memory."

ABIT's Advanced Durability brings greater responsibility to the motherboard manufacturers in creating durable products with quality, reliability and stability engineered for long-term, problem-free use. All of ABIT motherboards are Advanced Durability tested and approved. ABIT looks to all motherboard makers to make a similar durability commitment to the end-user.
