Q: Why can the BD7-E system not show correct DDR frequency during booting up? ( BD7-E )
A:

The system boots up with a default setting of CPU FSB400 and DDR200. If the memory modules installed are DDR333 specification, please go into BIOS setup page and manually set the DDR frequency.
The recommended ratio between CPU FSB and DDR frequency is as following:

DDR200 memory installed DDR266 memory installed DDR333 memory installed DDR400 memory installed
400 FSB CPU installed CPU:DRAM = 1:1 CPU:DRAM = 3:4 CPU:DRAM = 3:4 CPU:DRAM = 3:4
533 FSB CPU installed N/A CPU:DRAM = 1:1 CPU:DRAM = 1:1 CPU:DRAM = 3:4

In case you install FSB533 CPU and DDR333 memory onto BE7-E board, the CPU: DRAM = 3:4 will be a little tricky because this setting will cause memory module to work in DDR355 mode and hence the system may boot failure or be unstable. We recommend adopt CPU: DRAM = 1:1 for this configuration.
