März 2006– ABIT hat seit langem einen guten Namen, wenn es ums übertaktbare
stabile Motherboards geht, auch das AN8-32X ist hier keine Ausnahmen: "Seit
geraumer Zeit hat ABIT mit einigen seiner Motherboards Geschichte gemacht. Boards
wie das legendäre BH-6 haben zusammen mit einem Intel 300A Prozessor die Übertaktungs-Bewegung
in Gang gebracht. Als nächstes kam das NF7 und der AMD Mobile 2500+, und eine
Menge Leute, man mag es kaum glauben, verwenden diese Kombi noch immer. Und
eines der letzten großartigen Motherboards aus ABITs Schmiede war das IC7 MAX3.
Heute haben wir ein Boar, das wohl das nächste große Board von ABIT sein kann,
das AN8 32X."
Pro-Clockers ist beeindruckt von dem vollausgestatteten und hoch-übertaktbaren
Board. Die einzigen Beschränkungen, die die Tester hinzunehmen hatten, kamen
vom Speicher und der CPU. "Ich halted das ABIT AN8 32X für ein recht großartiges
Board. Taking in fact that it is soundly stable and very overclockable motherboard.
Overclocking the ABIT motherboard was awfully easy. Between the BIOS and the
μGuru panel made life easy when trying to find the max in which this board could
do. This is probably the first time that I have messed with a software overclocking
program that did not constantly freeze and require frequent reboots."
 They
enjoyed the layout and praised ABIT’s extra effort:: "The layout of
the AN8 32X is in my opinion very laid out compared to some of the other offering
we have from other manufacturers and as compared to others by ABIT. All connectors
and plugs are located at the edges of the board, making for a very clean install.
The silent heatpipe was another added bonus to the layout and noiseless aspects
as well. It was nice to see nothing interfering with the installation of the
rest of our components, like what we have been seeing from a lot of ATI chipset
motherboards."
The Highly recommended award was presented in style: "In closing I would
like to say that I think that the AN8 32X could be out in the same class as
the BH6 and the others"
