Besides downloading the bios file, you also need the Flash Utility to flash bios rom. (For files before Aug 2001)

  • For more FAQs about BIOS relationship, click here please.
  • You won't need to update BIOS until the latest bios has improve / fix some functions.
  • You won't need to upgrade through all of the BIOS files, just upgrade to the latest one please and it will include all previous improvments.
  • The CMOS data will be lost after flashing the BIOS. You may need to enter the BIOS setup screen and configure your system information after rebooting the machine.

  • 윈도우에서 아래와 같은 문제 시 부팅이 되지 않는 문제 수정
    A.SATA과 PATA 하드가 같이 있을 때, OS를 SATA를 설치 했을 때 부팅 되지 않는 문제.
    B.OS를 설치 후에 PATA를 제거 했을 때.

  • Prescott CPU 마이크로 코드 추가.

  • 연도 기본값 2004으로 변경.

  • Intel OSB 로고 업 데이트.

1. CPU 마이크로 코드 업 데이트.
2. Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 지원 추가.
3. CPU: DRAM 설정 값이 (FSB800/5:4 혹은 FSB800/3:2)일때,  CAS latency 값이 수동으로 제대로 설정 되지 않던 문제 수정.
4. "Resume by Alarm" 를 사용 했을 때와 시스템이 포스팅 되고 있을 때 파워 버튼을 눌렀을 때 시스템이 리 부팅이 되던 문제 수정.
5. 136GB 이상의 HDD를 사용했을 때(200/250/300 GB SATA를 SATA1 혹은 SATA2 (ICH5 SATA 채널)) 정확하게 인식 되지 않던 문제 수정.

20030814-is7v11.exe  BIOS Issed Date : 2003/11/19
1. 특정한 CD-ROM과 특정한 HDD 장치를 같은 IDE 케이블에  연결 했을 때 인식 되지 않았던 문제 수정.
2. "Onchip Serial ATA"을 "Enhanced Mode"로 설정 시 WD360 SATA HDD가 Windows XP로 부팅 되지 않는 문제 수정.
3. "Boot Device"의 설정 사항 변경.
"ZIP100" ->"ZIP100/250"
"USB-ZIP" -> "USB-ZIP/LS120"
4. 풀 스크린 로고가 있을 때 바이오스 셋팅으로 넘어갈 수가 있는 핫키 추가.
5. ‘system configuration table’ 에서 "DDR at Bank" 에서  "DDR at DIMM"로 변경 됨.
6. BIOS 날짜: 8/14/2003.

20040329-is7v14.exe  BIOS Issed Date : 2004/03/29

  • P4 Prescott 2.4G (533MHz/ 1M L2/ 90nm) CPU 사용 시, "CPU is unworkable" 에러 메시지가 뜰 때 아래와 같이 바이오스를 업 데이트 해야 함.
    A. "CPU is unworkable" 가 화면에 표기 될 때, <F1> 키를 누른 뒤에 계속해서 부팅 진행을 하면 된다.
    B. 플로피로 부팅 한 뒤에 바이오스를 업 데이트 하면 된다.

  • BIOS 날짜: 03/12/2004.
